Basic Policy for Appropriate Handling of Specific Personal Information, etc.

The Company shall establish a basic policy for ensuring appropriate handling of specific personal information and individual numbers (hereafter referred to as “specific personal information, etc.”) based on the Act on the Use of Numbers to Identify a Specific Individual in Administrative Procedures (hereafter referred to as “the Personal Numbers Act”), and shall carry out this basic policy as an organization.

Observance of Related Laws, Guidelines, etc. The Company shall observe the Personal Numbers Act, the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, and the Guidelines for the Proper Handling of Specific Personal Information (for Business Operators), and shall handle specific personal information, etc. correctly.
Matters related to security control measures
The Company shall enact necessary and appropriate security control measures for management of specific personal information, etc. for purposes including preventing its leakage, loss, or damage. The Company shall also carry out necessary and appropriate supervision of employees and contractors (including subcontractors) which handle specific personal information, etc. It shall prescribe the details of the safety control measures for specific personal information, etc. in the separate “Specific Personal Information Management Regulations.”
